Progress and planning

	The service model was planned with senior clinicians and managers from the three counties, starting in Autumn 2001.	For the diagrams of the service and training models developed, click HERE.

	The formal proposal was written by Rex Haigh and Steve Pearce in December 2003, and submitted in January 2004.	For the full text , click HERE.

	Recruitment took place on 20 July 2004, followed by a launch party at the Warneford Hospital on 22 July. A team building and planning event on a mental health training boat in Sicily (30 September - 3 October), shortly before moving into temporary premises on 4 October.

	As future plans, protocols and policies are developed they will be posted in this section of the website.
